Kalee’s love for serving people and gift of hospitality is evident from the moment you meet her. Combined with her eye for detail and creative organizational skills, Kalee has an exceptional combination of gifts and skills for planning thoughtful and beautiful events that clients will cherish for a lifetime.

Growing up in Orlando, Florida provided countless opportunity for her creativity. Even as a young child, Kalee was designing, dreaming and organizing design boards and productions that have led to her career in Event Management. Receiving her degree from the University of Florida led her to her first job in Washington, D.C. with Capitol Services Incorporated. There she received invaluable experiences that have made her the highly respected and seasoned planner that she is today. 

After a succession of many happy clients, Kalee Baker Events was officially established in 2013. Over a decade of planning events for the Birmingham market, her valued relationships with vendors and knowledge of the area’s provisions have become a proven necessity to her clients. 

Kalee is married to Braxton, who serves as the Youth Director for Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church. Together, they have four precious children, Whit, Sarah Grace, Knox, and Ruthie Kate.  Locally, Kalee serves in her local Daughters of the American Revolution chapter, co-leads a Women Business Leaders Entrepreneur Bible Study and teaches Sunday School to High School girls.

Ashley stepped into event planning out of a desire to love and celebrate others. She is passionate about serving in intentional ways. Her joy, heart for others, and hard work create a thoughtful experience for those she serves. She loves event planning and the way it allows her to be creative and execute all different types of events. Her heartbeat is that her clients feel peace & get to enjoy their special seasons!

Ashley grew up in Vestavia Hills, AL. She has always had a desire to lead & create. Even from a young age, she developed business ideas anywhere from sewing to baking! She went on to receive her college degree from Auburn University. Some of her most cherished memories from Auburn came from serving in leadership roles at Church of the Highlands - Auburn. Post-graduation she served in multiple human resource positions, further developing her organizational & technical skills, which now are an invaluable asset to her skill set.

She met her husband, Will, in high school as one of her good friends. They got engaged and married after their time at Auburn University. They have been in Birmingham since and are expecting their first baby in December! In their free time, you will find them with their friends and family, walking their dog Clue, & playing tennis!
