Easy health & beauty must-haves that will change. your. life.

Being a wedding planner and a mom is an absolute JOY (most days lol). But, it is also extremely busy. As fun as it would be to get all the facials and professional blow-outs, see all the personal trainers and get all the private nutrition coaches, something quick and easy is much more of a necessity- and realistic! See below for a quick list of my DAILY must haves :) Seriously - these easy health and beauty must-haves may just change your life as they have mine ! Enjoy!

EVERY SINGLE MORNING:

  1. Vitamin C Serum from my sweet friend, Kate, with Made Simple Living. I have only been using this for two months, but have already seen a HUGE difference in my skin. It is brighter and I even have less breakouts (all of my breakouts are hormonal and I honestly feel like this serum has helped tremendously!). For background, I do have EXTREMELY sensitive skin, so it took a little bit of time to adjust to the serum, but overall I have seen SUCH a difference in the quality of the product and the results in my skin compared to using a cheaper Vitamin C serum from Amazon. FYI: Kate is AMAZING!

Not only does she provide clean, simple, high-quality skincare and makeup, but she also provides personalized consultations that provide insight on what routine is best for YOU. Her expertise is so valuable and I am so thankful I have bought her products. I absolutely cannot recommend her enough. And she’s local right here in Birmingham so doesn’t get much better than that :)

  2. Another item I get from Kate - who will tell you, like myself that the best line of defense for your precious skin is always - SUNSCREEN - ya’ll protect that precious skin!! Promise you’ll thank yourself (from the HS tanning bed queen - cannot even believe I am typing that - but THANK YOU JESUS for spray tans - will also share alllllll my fav locals spray tan girls :) We’ll save that for another post :) But this is LIGHTWEIGHT and actually works! From the girl who literally gets burned sitting inside - I love this stuff.

  3. If its a hair day (IYKYK lol) I cannot live without my Revlon Hair Dryer Brush - my mom sent me this dryer probably 3 years ago and I CANNOT tell you what a game changer it has been! I used to dry my hair with a round brush and ya’ll this is all in one - IT IS AMAZING - now I have had short hair (shoulder length hair/mom cut - duh lol) for a while now so I have NO clue if it’d work on longer hair but I absolutely LOVE IT.

  4. I put my Collagen in my hot water and its the first think I drink every single morning :) For those of ya’ll that do not know I am not a coffee drinker (lol) just a hot water and lemon kinda girl but don’t get me wrong I LOVE some teas - one of my favorites is actually the Traditional Medicinals Turmeric Tea listed here - Tumeric is traditionally good for inflammation and I for sure see a difference here :) As far as the Collagen goes, I have only been using this for about a month so TBD on how much difference it really makes but I can tell that already I have no where NEAR the hair that typically falls out in the shower - so it’s got my vote for sure!!

EVERY SINGLE NIGHT (except the whiteners - those are far and few between lol).

  1. I actually had a precious past bride and her mom who introduced me to this Yogi Honey Lavender Tea mixed with the Natural Vitality Calm: Raspberry-Lemon Flavor 1/2 teaspoon in a cup of this about an hour before you are wanting to go to bed WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. It’s just wonderful really and “zins” you out - if thats even a word!!!! lol Apparently most of us are naturally pretty deficient in Magnesium - who knew!?!?! and this is seriously the perfect way to end your day!

  2. After I completely soak the bathroom floor/vanity and Braxton rolls his eyes at me (lol) after my daily night time routine - I have been ending the day with this Dior Lash Primer - results TBD but I used to have the LONGEST, full lashes (albeit blonde lol) and I have been using this in hopes of getting some of my volume back - so TBD :)

  3. Fun Fact about me: I have never had braces - but gosh was I THAT 3rd grader who would roll out my chewing gum in a long line and pretend a had a retainer - lol - I mean ALLLLLL the cool kids had braces right!??!?!?!? Now, I did wear a back brace - thank you double curve scoliosis which I am now getting AMAZING PT for that is also changing my life - more on that in another post - but one thing I get asked quite often is if I professionally whiten my teeth and the answer is nope - never have. I’ll pop one of these Colgate Whitening Strips once a month or so (whenever I remember and have 30 min) and that is it!! SO easy and I feel like GREAT results :)

Hope this post helps ya’ll as you navigate what works for YOU and makes your daily life easier and better and MORE FULL! My heart is that you are THRIVING right where God has you, and some of these products may help you do just that!
